TBT: Duke and Bandit

I found an instant photograph taken of Duke and Bandit, 2 dogs from 1978. You can tell it’s an old photo because of the bright red sofa, the insane flash, and the disinterested arm on the right that couldn’t be…

Fractured Fairy Tales

Woof. Finally the nonbloggable becomes bloggable – Mom (aka A-Woww) tripped and fell 2 weeks ago, fracturing her kneecap and shattering her elbow. The knee will heal on its own in an immobilizer which thankfully allows her to walk. The…

Friday 5: Questions created very quickly late Friday morning and answered on Saturday

Oh, Internet. It’s been a week. A week of nonbloggable crap. It’ll get blogged eventually, but not yet. It’s not my story to tell. Plus I think the country is 1970s-level of broken right now, and I think it’s going…

Murphy and Ollie update

The dogs are doing well. Murphy is almost 20 lbs, thanks to a safe, cozy house and all of rocks that he eats. Seriously, we fish rocks out of his mouth every day. He’s a chewer and a barker —…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
