Paul Mecurio thinks I’m pregnant

It’s not every night that an Emmy award winning comedian asks if you are pregnant. So I suppose tonight can be remembered as an interesting evening. Tonight, I received last minute tickets to the Chocolate Lover’s Bash. from work. A…

Survivor AllStars and more whining about my job

One more interview tomorrow. But more importantly, I’m super bummed that Rudy was voted off of the Subota tribe. I hope Jerri, Jenna L, and Ethan get dysentery. I worked until almost 8 tonight. It’s ok, though, because I managed…

Spinning plates

Two job interviews tomorrow — very good. We are really hitting our busy time and I’m starting to feel the strain of being shorthanded. Plus, Damon has jury duty tomorrow, so I’m flying solo. Eeep. As for the sick PC,…

Late nights and job doubts

I’ve been working very late nights — sometimes until almost 7 — so I can try to stay an inch ahead. All told, I’m glad I took this job in winter, when my OT happens on cold dark nights. By…

Looking for a new hire and Janet Jackson boobgate

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
