fakin a smile with your coffee to go

Damn..the last few days have been absolutely craptastic. Anyway…

‘Zat is the state of the kitchen. Note the Cookies sign above the nook (yes, there will be a cookiecam 2006) and the red cutting mat and red paper towel holder. I’m so thrilled with how these red accents are starting to look!

Misty is loving the red ottoman. There are catnip toys all over the place, so both she and Charlie are perpetually stoned.

But more importantly, I now own a television. A HDTV, to be exact. Next I need a DVD player. You can see Misty’s reflection in the TV. The Great Gazoo is there to remind me not to watch too much TV and become a “dum-dum.”

This is my pride and joy. I decided to return the smaller table for the longer one so I could put my printer up. The chest of drawers is separate, and I love love love the red.

And quite possibly the cutest laundry room ever.

Why is it that Women’s Bachelorette pads always look good? I wish I could get my place in order without paying for a cleaning woman.

The best news is…..Cookiecam 2006. Will the Santa apron return? (smile)

Everything looks quite homey, homey. Bad joke.

Kim, your apartment looks tre cute! The red is fantastic (I, too, accented in red, in just the kitchen, but sadly it does not look nearly as cool as yours does). John says he really loves it, and I’d really love to come visit. I’ll talk to you soon! 🙂

Girl you have a gift for decorating. The red looks relly good. Apartments can be so drab with all the white and beige but you turned this around. It looks personal rather than typical. Can’t wait for the house warming… I suppose I should bring something red. How about some Red wine 🙂

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
