monotony

My “big yearly meeting” is on Tuesday. I leave for Atlantic City tomorrow afternoon. And like last year…I have nothing. Well, can’t really say that. I have a FEW ideas. But nothing written down yet, let alone photocopied in fifteen-pliclate. I ran two ideas by some Director peers, and they were well-received.

My neck is killing me. I slept poorly on Thursday night and now I’m all stiff from my neck to my right shoulderblade. Perhaps some Aleve will help. Mixed with Captain Morgan. (I kid, I kid)

Baron vonPlaque and I went to South Jersey Regional Airport yesterday to watch a local Model Airplane club fly their planes. He’s loved model airplanes for as long as I’ve known him. The field was gorgeous (but hot!) and I can totally see him flying a plane there soon. And crashing it. No swipe here…the president of the club said he totalled his first 5 planes. (shudder)

Last night we headed to a photo gallery in Collingswood to see an exhibition of Co-worker Shawn’s ‘cameratographer’ work. The article I linked to is by far the funniest thing I’ve ever read.

Now Mom&I are off to take in some shopping. I can work on the meeting-stuff later. Blech.
