I’m still stuffed from last night’s Buca di Beppo dinner. Cousin Tricia gave me a sweet little bag from Nine West, Cousin Sue gave me a set of Lenox Tweety Salt&Pepper Shakers, and Aunt Dee gave me a pearl pendant. Not too shabby, hm?

And that puts an end to the birthdayings.

The football season has begun, and my interest level has gone from “none” to “mild” since I created my fantasy football team. Thor is much more of a college football fan, and follows his school’s team closely. He’ll be watching that game tonight. I’ll make myself scarce.

Wallpaper scraping has resumed in the guest room. We rented a steamer from the local hardware store and it seems to be doing the trick.

All in all, a boring Saturday. A normal Saturday. Three years ago, I didn’t think anything would be normal again.
