Angie??? GAHH!!! Noooooooooo! After scrubbing approximately a half-inch of wax off of my apple this morning I decided that tonight I’d go by Whole Foods and see about that organic food the hippies talk about. It was…pretty interesting. As soon…

Ramblings

So I can’t really dish about work, because God forbid someone find out, get me fired, and I become famous and quoted in newspaper and television reports for years after the fact, while making money from Google ads and having…

Assault and (cookie) Batter

Did you KNOW a large Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookie is 280 calories?? That’s more than a Boston Kreme Donut! I found that out today, the hard way. Here’s how today added up: Breakfast: Strawberry-Kiwi light yogurt (90 cal), 2…

the days keep scribbling themselves in tidy lines

In honor of my finally getting the hostess page back up and styled properly, today’s self-serving post is: Hostess Shots gone horribly wrong! I cleared a lot of junk off of my pc this weekend, and I stumbled across hostess…

Class participation

Last night’s dinner: I had some frozen Beef something with a mashed potato-esque side dish. 230 calories. It’s hard for me to express my feelings about work in a way that 1) won’t leave me looking whiny or neurotic and…

You’ve come a long way, kitty

Back in May, Charlie was hiding in the closet. Now, he seems to have found a new place to hang out. I much prefer this one, don’t you? (3/17: no idea where the picture is) Welcome, Boo-bear. Dinner: 1 cup…

And they lived happily ever after

Source: A Royal romance I’m quite possibly the only one stateside who cares that Charles and Camilla are finally officially together. Never one to follow rank-and-file thinking, I always felt badly for Camilla after Diana died, for Camilla was just…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)
