Not the Biggest Loser

I have no idea how this happened (okay I do) but Charlie’s now 30 lbs. Not too sure how to deal with this, as he, Misty, and Max share the same bowl of food.* He’s not much of an exerciser,…

World's weirdest cat

He stared at the pig for over a half hour. Edited to add: My luck, and the way this year has been, he’s probably watching a poisonous scorpion crawl by.

Charlie in repose

PS. Um. I don’t think this NaNo thing’s going to work.

Charlie, Snuggles, Mickey

From my Treo! Charlie, Snuggles, Mickey. Charlie is really adapting to apartment life! He’s taken to perching on the windowsill and looking at life below. ‘…just to spend one day out there!’ Edited to add: The creepy doll is Snuggles….

Catch-up

Thor’s at the theater experiencing part 3 of six but really-hopefully- the last Star Wars movie. As you can tell, I’m not there. To each his own. Now before I go out and start tending to our barren garden…let’s catch…

You’ve come a long way, kitty

Back in May, Charlie was hiding in the closet. Now, he seems to have found a new place to hang out. I much prefer this one, don’t you? (3/17: no idea where the picture is) Welcome, Boo-bear. Dinner: 1 cup…

Slacker

Slacker Home sick today. Usually, I’d feel guilty, but the last sick day I took (according to my blog) was in August, and April before that. That’s the good thing about having a blog. I can look these things up!…

Charlie-boo

Crazy work-day yesterday, topped off by the fact that I managed to leave my briefcase home! Mind you, my briefcase contains my red binder of management goodness, which contains every single thing I’ve learned on the job since December. Surprisingly,…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
