Hello, doves! Remember me?

A few mini-rants… I watched the finale of My Big, Fat, Obnoxious Fiance last night. Ugh. I thought Randi was a shallow witch when I saw the first episode. Now I know that shallowness is genetic, thanks to meeting her…

And another weekend slips…

And another weekend slips between my fingers. I look forward to them now more than ever before. Friday afternoons, my spirit soars. On Sundays, I’ve a twinge of sadness. This weekend, unfortunately, has been punctuated by smatterings of work. Nothing…

Another exercise in disrupted plans

Tonight, MomandI had tickets to the Wings game, located at the Wachovia Center. Once upon a time in Philadelphia, we had a stadium that served our baseball and football teams. It was old, and could have used work, but it…

Wherein I stand up for myself at work

All too often, I tend to focus on good situations that end up turning out poorly. But looking back on this week, I realized that the very opposite happened. It started out very stressy. Lots of work. Some conflict. Big…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
