Nip it in the bud!

It’s no secret that I’m slightly right-of-center than most of the bloggers I read. That shocks a lot of people because we’ve been very black-and-white in this country for the last 10+ years with regard to politics. You’re either handing…

Boiled eggs and Facebook scariness

WM’s gone for a bit to visit his family for Mother’s Day so I am ruling the roost! And by that I mean cleaning out the fridge & tossing out socks with holes. While cleaning out the fridge, I realized…

M-I-C (see Kim spend money on Disney soap)

I’ve become a loyal reader of the Design Mom blog, despite being neither design-y nor a Mom. And you know how I feel about Disney. So when I first saw this adorable Mickey Mouse hand wash featured as part of…

Beauty tips that took me 25 years to learn: Eyeshadow brushes!

I’ve never been much into makeup, much to the dismay of my Mom who used to swish blush on my face as I glumly ate breakfast in the morning before school. Now to hide the world-weariness that 11+ years working…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
