During the work week, Poochus McDoofus (nickname via the Wandering Minstrel) and I usually take our morning walk around 6:15 or so. During that time I listen to an episode of Coffee Break Spanish on the iPod. It’s a lot of fun (especially since the presenters are from Scotland and have some kick-butt accents!) and I’m learning some decent conversational Spanish. A lot of the podcast involves my repeating the words that the teacher says.
So if you live along our morning route, as you drink your morning coffee you’ll overhear gems such as…
“Trabajo en una oficina.”
“Me gusta mucho el chocolate.”
“Stop rolling in that!”
“Tengo un hermano. Se llama Juan.”
“Don’t pee on the Easter Flowers!”
“Siete. SiETe. See-AY-Tay.”
“I think that’s dead, buddy.”
(forgive the spelling and lack of accents, please. I’m still learning how to write it all.)

¡Hola, LadyGypsy! Just posting to say that your Spanish is spot-on. Must be that great podcast you’re listening to! In fact, on all of the words you wrote there are no accents required and you’re spelling is “perfecto”!
Seriously, hope you’re enjoying learning with us, and that Poochus McDoofus is picking up some Spanish too.
¡Que tengas un buen día!
Mark
