I have a plot. I have protagonists. I have a setting, 2 corpses, and even some motive! Now I just need to find coffee pods for my new good friend and I’ll be golden.
Edited to add:
I sketched out mini-profiles for 11 characters in my novel, and outlined my plot up to the climax. Writing’s going much easier now that I’ve done that. Wish I did that last week.
There’s also a cool widget that tracks your word count against someone else’s. A Word War, if you will.
Now you can watch my Mom kick my ass when it comes to Word Count. (Mom’s doing NaNo too…ain’t that cool?)

How do you get one of those cool graphs? I’d love to have one.
Best of luck with the novel. I’m having a blast with mine

Tommy:
Go to the NaNo site…it’s under Fun stuff and called Word Count Widgets. It’ll give you the code to pop into your blog, and your userID is in the URL when you log in. The graph is wicked cool…I can’t wait to chart some progress!

Thanks so much. Those are pretty cool!
I think the outlines are the key to Nanowrimo. You’ll definitely build a stronger novel that way.
