So I get up today…EARLY

So I get up today…EARLY! And I triumphantly take my shower, half-dry my hair…and I’m still early. In my infinite wisdom, I decide to lay on the bed for a moment or two whilst I decide what to wear. An…

Big kids have feelings too, Mrs. Neidermayer

I’d offer a link to the Courier-Post’s coverage of the Devils’ win last night, but there’s no story. We don’t seem to think that anyone in SJ would care about a NJ team winning a championship. Instead, here’s the snarky…

Yeah, baby!

Yeah, baby! Devils dominant at home again to win Cup I skipped lunch at work and instead had Trader Ming’s (from Trader Joe’s) Kung Pao Chicken. It’s a frozen ‘kit’…only 240 calories per serving AND the bag only has 2.5…

Weekend in a nutshell

Weekend in a nutshell: Rain. Devils lost. Potato chips. Chocolate Chip cookies. Mountain Dew. YMCA. Asheron’s Call. More rain. Wt: Um…I don’t think so. Suffice it to say I’ll be eating nothing but veggies the rest of the week.Mood: Depressed….

Have been eating like a piggy

Wt: 138.2. Have been eating like a piggy though. We took Mickey home today. His remains are in a cedar box similar to Noelle’s but a skosh bigger. It’s just sad. I need to get a nameplate made for him…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
