Open Letter to Thor, day 2

My dear God of Lightning… The house still stands. The wife is well fed. However, I seem to be catching another cold. (I’m sicker than the geriatric population these days) I’ve put aside the juvenile Queen of the House dressup…

Open Letter to Thor – Day 1

My dear God of Lightning, And so you are home, visiting your parents down in Dixieland. Which makes me totally alone in the house until late Saturday night. Well, with Max. And the cats. And a Smith & Wesson. But…

Go Daddy-o!

Blogging live from AC via the celly. BBVD were fantastic. I’ve now confirmed that I have a suit/tie fetish. (hat optional). The auditorium wasn’t set up for dancing, so unfortunately Thor and I couldn’t show off our swing dance ‘skills.’…

Thunderous Thursday!!!

(remember, exciting fake stuff is in pink and the truth is in black.) I wore my pedometer all day today. It’s recommended that an adult take 10,000 steps per day — which roughly translates to 5 miles. Today’s grand total?…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
