Excuse me, where's the toothpaste department?

I had a dream that I was traveling somewhere and one of the things I *had* to do is visit Osmond’s — a giant megastore owned by Donny and Marie Osmond. It was a HUGE store indeed and to facilitate…

Upstairs, downstairs

Stampy is the little kid that belongs to one of the people who lives upstairs. Stampy visits on Wednesday nights and every other weekend. We can tell Stampy is here from hearing the constant thumping on our ceiling/their floor. Stampy…

It's okay to not retweet Takei

I cannot wait to see the True Hollywood Story about TakeiCo. Operating from a dank warehouse without climate control outside of Los Angeles, a bunch of grad school graduates spend hours crafting the perfect 127 character* witty tweet. Another team…

Resolved: Peel a banana from the bottom

I’m cheating a bit with the New Year’s resolutions, obviously. Today, in an attempt to get more vitamins in me to conquer this cold, I bought a bottle of Naked brand orange carrot juice and a banana. The juice tasted…

Here comes 2013!

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
