It’s a fun Christmas Album by country and vaccine queen Dolly Parton! Here’s the entire album!
The whole album is fantastic. My favorites are “Cuddle Up, Cozy Down Christmas” which is a duet with Michael Buble, and “Christmas on the Square” which is a slappy little hoedown song. I skip “All I Want for Christmas is You” because I can’t stand Jimmy Fallon.

She’s terrific. I admit I’m more a fan of her than her music, but certain of her explorations (bluegrass, mostly–she had a bit of a bluegrass period) really get me excited. I don’t know how true this is, but I’ve read that she writes one song every day, even when she’s busy on tour. She says almost all of the songs are terrible, but the discipline of creating, each day, means she’s ready for the next good song when it comes around. I totally admire her for this and use it to motivate me all the time.
