A few months back, during a trip to IKEA, I had the bright idea of purchasing a pillow for Charlie to relax on. I did this because he was curling up in a pile of plastic bags that he dragged beneath my endtable. I saw this pillow which was fashioned into the shape of a dead mouse (ears, appendages, tail and “x”s for eyes) and thought it was perfect.
Charlie didn’t take to it AT ALL despite my spending far too much time showing him it was for him to lay on.
So the mouse pillow lay neglected and lonely on my floor. Then a few weeks ago, I brought Max home.
(Warning…I never use the “more” tag…take what you will from that and click at your own discretion)
The pillow gets so much action now that I’ve named it Paris.
Even though he’s fixed, Max has always fooled around with pillows. Anything he does now, I’m attributing to the stress of the last few months on him, and his moving here. But what completely kills me is that he’ll most often approach Paris from the rear, and occasionally from the front, but never from the side. Sometimes when he’s walking by, he’ll bite Paris on the tail and keep on walking.
Welcome home, Max.
