Wild, wild, Wildwood days

< Did you ever smell an aroma that took you back years? The other day Max and I went for a stroll around the neighborhood. About 10 minutes into the walk, as Max stared down a squirrel, I encountered the...

Political post fallout

Heh. Write some political stuff and everyone comes to play! 😉 In short, yes, I’ll vote for Kerry, but I still wish he’d stop harping on the tax cut when it’s obvious that not just the uber-wealthy benefited. End of…

Warning: Political Rant

I’ve been searching John Kerry’s website trying desperately to find a way to suspend my dislike of him for 30 seconds in November. He’s making it so hard. Example: Thor and I got a tax break thanks to GWB. Perhaps…

My holiday…in pictures When last I left you, I was stressed out about work and worshipping the power of cheese — er — Velveeta. I decided to take last Friday off and create a wonderful 4-day weekend for myself. Here’s…

How I know I’ve arrived

“So, Kim,” you begin after the waiter brings each a creme brulee at the end of our meal. “Look at you. You have a house, a Saturn, some animals, lots of gadgets, a good marriage, and a somewhat-respected job. How…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
