Update in photos

April 22, 2006 by

Easter, sadly, doesn’t really mean much to me anymore. I’m still trying to find my way, religion-wise, so I didn’t observe Lent or go to Mass. I don’t go to church on a regular Sunday, so I’d feel hypocritical going on Easter.  In any case, it was a nice spring day, capped with dinner out […]

I’ll show you a Network Solution!

April 21, 2006 by

Apparently, Network Solutions decided that unless I host* my site with them, I’m going to have to pay $34.99 to renew my domain name for ONE MEASLY YEAR!*. Uh, thanks but no. Ever frugal (after spending a pretty penny on bras) I transferred my domain over to GoDaddy.com during lunch. For $10.00. Less than a […]

Wearing tan twinset, a-line brown skirt with tan print, brown heels, tan headband and NO stockings kinda retro…i love summer! it’s getting difficult to resist the call of the tanning booth. on one hand, I’m probably days away from skin cancer from all […]

Cherry blossom time

April 19, 2006 by

From my Treo! An original photo by ladygypsy. They don’t call my town “Cherry Hill” for nothing.  Chapel Avenue is lined on either side with cherry trees. And now, they’re in bloom!

hey yeah?

April 17, 2006 by

I know Curves is owned by a devout Christian, but editing the line in the song “Redneck Woman” from “Hell, yeah!” to “Hey yeah!” in its music mix is JUSSST a bit much.

springtime lunch

April 13, 2006 by

From the PhoneCam! Spring! Originally uploaded by ladygypsy. My first lunch at the picnic benches this year! had a subway roast beef sandwich with lite chips and a diet cola. Key word: moderation. when did jennifer love hewitt become just jennifer love? this weekend I’m giving away my rarely-worn clothing to charity. I have too […]

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)
