Friday 5: Pew Slag

Happy, er, Saturday. I was very sleepy last night, even missed movie night which was Encino Man – a movie that I put on the list! In Bummer, dude. This week’s Friday 5 is PEW SLAG. What recently made you…

A trip to Philadelphia and three great things about working from home

murphy among a pile of fluff

Last Monday I went into the office to have my laptop looked at. It turns out all she needed as a blowout (as do I) but I thought going into Philly would be a fun diversion from the usual stay…

What I’m Watching: Moriah Elizabeth

She paints, she bakes, she fixes broken squishies. She’s Moriah Elizabeth and I love both her amazing talent and her self-deprecating humor. She uploads a 15-20 minute video every Friday. Filed under: I-could-be-your-Mom-but-I-love-your-Youtube-content

Friday 5: We learned more from a three-minute record, baby

friday october 15

Happy Friday, friends! I had a very good adulting week, including having an electrician in to upgrade some old outlets. That will likely be the beginning of a very beautiful and expensive friendship, because if there is any one thing…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
