Happy Friday, which is also National Peanut Day (I have one peanut plant in the garden!) and Positive Thinking Day which, okay. I try.
It’s been a bit of a frenetic week. A lot of running around. A Phillies game, a day in the office, another out-of-home meeting, two trips to the gym. Big doings for little ol’ sedentary me!
This Friday 5 theme is Radio questions and I’ve got this. (Positive thinking!)
- What’s so funny ’bout peace, love, and understanding?
That some people find it difficult to embrace those sentiments. Loving each other, wanting tranquil and safe lives for every person — all of us! — should be hardwired into us. And yet… - How’s it going to be?
It’s going to be a long time until election day. - What’s new pussycat?
The township was supposed to pave our street this week and fix sections of the sidewalk. They left flyers in the door instructing us to not park on the street starting on Monday. Cool. I park outside of our house, so on Monday morning I dutifully moved Molly to Mom’s house a few blocks away. And after 5 days they’re still only at the top of the street. So Molly’s home again for a spell. - Why do fools fall in love?
Because we believe in happily ever afters. - Can you feel the love tonight?
I prefer Afternoon Delight, to be honest.
Speaking of music, I was reminiscing in the car today about how GOOD Maroon 5’s “Songs about Jane” was. Sunday Morning was my jam for a long time.
