Dear Sir Paul

the hell?

I know you’re having a tough time of it lately, with the divorce and the child custody issues and turning 65. But…what are you “going for” with this promo photo?

Cutesy-wutsey insecure boy?
It’s cold and the wolves are after me?
I’m poor Sir Paul, please buy this Starbucks card with my graven image?

I’m not a fan of the Beatles and it turns out that my favorite Beatles song was written by George, but I can’t be alone with thinking this is one of the creepiest pictures this guy’s ever taken.

Let’s face it, Sir Paul just has not aged well. I’m not sure what they could have done for him on that. But hold on to that Starbucks Card, I’m hearing they will be in a limited run and it might deem some collectibility down the road.

“Here Comes the Sun” is a great song. More and more I’m appreciating the contributions of George and Ringo. One of my favorite Beatles’ songs is “With a Little Help From My Friends” with Ringo on lead vocals.

Not thrilled with the picture, but the Beatles were great!

For the record, AD’s 2nd favorite Beatle was Paul. 😉

I have to admit I love the Beatles.

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
