Phillies first home game win of the ’07 season

Yesterday, Mom, John, Kristen and I went to see the Phillies play the Houston Astros at Citizens Bank Park.

And…the Phllies won! I’m not a hard-core baseball nut — can’t spit out stats or debate why someone should/shouldn’t occupy a spot in the lineup. But few things make me tingly like a successfully-executed double play. And the Phillies completed 3 yesterday.

In other LadyGypsy.net sports, the Devils and Tampa Bay are tied 1-1 in the first round of the NHL playoffs.

We now return to our previously scheduled lazy Sunday Nor’Easter.

Splendid that the Phillies finally won a game at home.

That being said….Miller beer? Seems your good taste only applies to Wandering Minstrels.

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable.
