Goodbye 2006
Well, it’s been a year.
As I promised myself, I’m at home tonight, reading, playing online, basically cocooning myself from the world.
2006 was admittedly more bad than good for me. I lost a lot. But it’s nothing compared to what others have lost. And it’s nothing that hasn’t been gone through before. So I persevere.
Tonight, I’m toasting the end of 2006 with a wine that’s darn fitting for this year:

My resolutions for 2007?
- To be open to any changes that come along
- To break out of my shell a bit
- To read more
- To pay more attention to my online endeavors
Happy happy healthy 2007 to you and yours. Thank you for reading me, and I’ll see you next year!
edited to add: If I ever end up like Dick Clark, I’m giving you this advance directive to euthanize me. edited again Don’t euthanize me. Just don’t put me on television.

Don’t forget about “To party more”… my personal favorite resolution and although a little harder to do in the winter – if there’s a will there’s a way.
To new adventures in 2007, Happy New Year.
sorry–you said euthanize. It’s already in the works.
