Baby, it’s cold outside

brr! Tonight my Weatherpixie says 19 degrees. I hate the cold, but to be fair, this is the first REALLY cold day we’ve had this winter. The Weatherpixie looks all composed and warm in a tiny black jacket. Her real life counterpart is bundled up so thick that she looks like this doll.

Max, on the other hand, enjoys the cold. He relishes it. He loves it so much that he still insists on going on walks in the subfreezing weather. He loves it so much that I’m considering shaving him bald so that he’ll NOT want to go on walks in the subfreezing weather. I have the clippers, you know.

Swing dance class went well yesterday…Thor and I learned a few turns. It’s a lot of fun and we haven’t stepped on each other yet.

Tonight was Pilates. Since we already tackled the formalities last week, tonight was a full class of exercises, followed by meditation on beets, hominy, and sofa. I fully expect to be in pain tomorrow for my…

SECOND Rising Star luncheon. Coworker Damon (not to be confused with the millions of other Damons out there) received one as well…long overdue, IMO.

Work is great, by the way. Bookmark this post, because I sure don’t say that often anymore.Last week I had a lot of great revenue-generating ideas and this week I’ll start to look into a few some more. Can’t say much more…we all know that ALL the major news companies read my little blog for juicy insider info. (waves hi to the moles reading my blog)

Old age? Alzheimers? You decide.

Me, January 17: #@%&*!!! I missed Brian’s birthday!!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday to my oldest friend, Brian. He knew me when I remembered things.

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
