I went to Tai Chi tonight! Mom and I were the only two in the class, which was pretty mortifying at first. However, I adjusted quickly. It’s harder than it looks. Our teacher said it’s actually a very slowed-down form of martial arts. Had some strawberries as an afternoon snack and chips and salsa for dinner. Not the most complete dinner, but I wasn’t hungry.

Good news on the work front… the banners I worked on for the Seabiscuit promotion were picked by corporate as the ones that the papers will run online! Take a gander at them here. I’m so proud! All I really had to work with was the pic of Seabiscuit and Red Pollard from the movie poster. Not too shabby for not being an artsy girl.

I knocked out Perl chapter 4 at lunch today. I was going to shoot for chapter 5 tonight, BUT I’m getting sleepy. Since my sleep patterns have been less than stellar, I think I’ll just go with the flow and lay down. I’m trying to tough it out until it’s fully dark though.

AND…today is Charlie-Boo’s sixth birthday. I didn’t get him anything, because he doesn’t even know it’s his birthday. I think he’s just happy being next to me. He’s been very clingy ever since Mickey died. :/ I think David and Misty are ‘over it’ so to speak. But Charlie and I are still suffering. You wouldn’t believe how quite my apartment is.

With that, I’m going to gather up my baby-meow in my arms (all 20+ lbs of him) and trundle off to bed. G’night!
