Pants hemmed, for better or for worse.

Pants hemmed, for better or for worse. I’d have a lot less angst about the hemming job if they were MY pants. David’s a bit — exacting — so I hope they meet w/his approval. Or at least I hope…

Training went….ok

Training went….ok. I didn’t die. But I did muck up the booklets. Damn. Luckily Damon went back to our area and ran off copies of the corrected page. 🙂 Mickey seems better. He’s only ‘honked’ a few times. Nothing like…

(breathing into paper bag)

(breathing into paper bag) Less than 10 minutes until I run my training session. I have 15 booklets hot from the copier. Stapled and ready to go. All the info they need is in that booklet, so if my heart…

When the doggie’s asleep, he doesn’t cough.

When the doggie’s asleep, he doesn’t cough. When he’s awake, he coughs. He woke up about three times last night, and each time spent 20 minutes coughing. It reminds me of the honk of a goose. I hope the neighbors…

or maybe get a “Freedom Manicure?

…or maybe get a “Freedom Manicure?” Yes, I’m still giggling over the Freedom fries. I came home from work bearing a Donato’s Mariachi pizza, when David informed me that Mickey had been coughing all morning. 🙁 Not just a “I…

…does that mean I can “freedom kiss” somebody?

Okay, normally I don’t blog before lunch, but I came across this headline on CNN.com: House restaurants change name for ‘french fries’ and ‘french toast’ Hey…does that mean I can “freedom kiss” somebody? 😉

T’was a pretty productive day.

T’was a pretty productive day. Jersey Arts took up most of my day, and will probably get finished before I leave tomorrow. I worked through lunch (bad habit) and grabbed a Subway sandwich on the way home. Went to the…

Oh…I am exhausted.

Oh…I am exhausted. The Aerlinthe quest went off as scheduled, and it looked like it was going to be fantastic until at the last minute, it was jumped. What that means is that our group (I think there were at…

Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday! Now not only did I GO to confession yesterday, I went to Mass this morning. This, dear Reader, is the most sin-less I’ve been in a long time. Kinda eerie.

Oh, what to do, what to do, what to do? John can’t go to the gym. I SHOULD go anyway, but it’s Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tempting not to. I mean, hey, it’s Friday, I had a crummy week, Alex let me go…

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

Well, that happened.
