Friday 5: Men and women merely players
Happy Friday! Today is National Boss’s Day (I’m a boss!) and National Dictionary Day. Which is cool, because about two weeks ago, I bought an actual physical dictionary. I’m moving (back) toward physical media and this is one nice dictionary. It’s hardcover and smells divine.

- What is your history with cats?
I have been lucky enough to share my life with four cats: Noelle, Misty, Ferdie (for about a month), and Charlie. I loved them immensely, I miss them to bits and pieces, but even though Charlie’s been gone for over 12 years now, I don’t miss having a cat. I detested how you could clean a litterbox well but still find litter in the gaps between the baseboards and the floor. I didn’t like how cats would just pee anywhere for no reason. Most of all, I hated how they would hide how sick they were and break your heart in an instant. For those reason, my cat era is behind me. - Where did you first pay rent, and what was the space like?
It was the Village Apartments in Voorhees, 1997 when I moved in with BvP after we first married Our apartment was a lovely two bedroom second floor space, and this blog was born there. - When did you most recently go into the woods?
I couldn’t tell you. I tend to stay away from woods in general. - What do you know about Oklahoma?
Oh! These are MUSICALS! I can point out Oklahoma on the map, That’s about it. That and a surrey with the fringe on top. - Where have you been that might be described as a little shop of horrors?
Have you seen my garage? It is a graveyard of forgotten hobbies and ideas.
Wrapping it up here, as it has been A WEEK and your girl’s exhausted.
Exhausted, but still here.
