“Sticker” Situation: A Tour of My Surface Tablet

One of the great things about current culture is the popularity of stickers. I grew up collecting them, but they mostly stayed in sticker books or on notebooks. I love that today people are unafraid to use their stickers!

You can find stickers on just about anything portable: phones, laptops, tablets, water bottles, Kindles, scooters, cars, etc.

Inspired by this blog post I found via the IndieWeb, I present: the stickers on my Surface tablet.

(is this not old-school blog content? I love it!)

the back of kim's microsoft surface tablet, there are 10 decals on it, she describes them below
  1. Butt First Coffee is from Brian Cook and Butts on Things.
  2. Like many of my stickers, this beachy one came from a display at a store on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
  3. Same with Don’t Let Idiots Ruin Your Day, a sentiment that I should have in front of my face daily.
  4. Same with Old But Cool. I love the cassette design.
  5. I like my Water Like I like My Emotions: Bottled is from a Virginia Beach shop. This is funny, but not 100% true. I only bottle up the ones people are uncomfortable with: sadness, anger, frustration. Everyone gets happy Kim!
  6. The 99 Problems sticker is also from Virginia Beach.
  7. This sticker only makes sense if you remember Fruit Stripe Gum. I don’t think the shop I bought this from exists anymore (it came via TikTok) but here’s a version on RedBubble.
  8. There are many variations of the Muppet Emotional Support Animal sticker – mine is from Redbubble.
  9. I have always loved Oscar the Grouch. I bought this sticker from Blank Tag.
  10. This Everything is Fine sticker came in a card from one of my card exchange buddies.

If nothing else, this proves that I am a person of depth and complexity, as long as that depth includes coffee, beach shops, mild anxiety, and at least one Muppet.

Previous Post Friday 5 on a Saturday Morning: Plus or Minus

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
