On Sunday Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential election and endorsed VP Kamala Harris. In a radical departure from their behavior over last almost-17 years, the Democratic Party got their shit together and backed her almost unanimously. That this happened right after the RNC spent days bashing Biden for being old/sick/human is amazing.
Could the US finally do what (only) 59 other countries have done and finally, finally elect a woman to be president?
Maybe?
I hope that every bro who opened his mouth and contributed to bullying a sitting president out of running again needs to open his mouth AND wallet for Harris. That goes double for George Clooney. And Nancy Pelosi needs to take her own advice and not seek re-election as well.
This happened eight days after former President Trump/current candidate Trump was shot. (I 20% believe it was staged.)
