Fifty-two Wednesdays in 2023, with words

a 52 photo collage of all of the wordless wednesday posts. Captions below.

Row 1: Murphy joins me on the yoga mat for my 30 days of yoga; my 2023 planner cover, with a sticker saying the strongest steel is forged in the fire of a dumpster; my home office desk and wall; paper sticking out from under my desk mat with “US Classified Documents” printed on them, sending up the docs found in Mar-a-Lago

Row 2: My nightstand with a water bottle, Alexa Spot (discontinued), and earplugs in a chipped starfish dish; a tiny green lemon on our Meyer lemon tree, Murphy under a quilt, tulip leaves sprouting from the ground

Row 3: The little green lemon measuring in at an inch; book cover of Feminism is for Everybody by bell hooks; a selfie in the stylist chair of me getting my hair highlighted; Murphy enjoying an early spring day outside

Row 4: Camden Aquarium ceiling; Austin TX street of Mickey Mouse; tulips in bloom; the first hammock day of the season

Row 5: Color wheel at my watercolor class; Murphy staring at me on the sofa; a watercolored doodle of Max because I miss him still, a creamy white rose from one of our rose bushes

Row 6: Philadelphia street art of Snow White engaging in a recreational activity; a “Please do not Judge” sign from a car on display at Collingswood May Fair; a gnawed squeaker from the inside of one of Murphy’s toys; colonoscopy prep supplies

Row 7: Murphy on our brand-new recliner that replaced the cheap-ass one from Ashley Furniture that broke in 2 years – yes I continue to have feelings about that; blue hydrangeas from our yard; a picture from our wedding in 2012 to commemorate our 11th anniversary, my 2023 Margate/Ventnor beach tag because in NJ we pay to access beaches

Row 8: Virginia Beach Neptune statue; Murphy under my hammock; a picture of Ollie because I miss him still, a Hershey Lodge claw machine filled with Bob Ross plushes

Row 9: A chocolate chip cookie sandwich on Margate beach, Phillies game at Citizen Bank Park, a ripened tomato covered in dew, a cute metal cricket sculpture found in a neighbor’s bush on my daily walk with Murphy

Row 10: Home office shelves with pumpkins for fall; a statue in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square; an assortment of Orange Bird and orange birds; outdoor Halloween decor

Row 11: “Be Kind” chalked onto the pavement in front of the elementary school; Murphy on our walk; Spaceship Earth detail; interior of The Land Pavilion at Disney’s Epcot

Row 12: Me pointing at my “I voted” sticker; a rubber duckie left on our Jeep; home office shelves decorated for Christmas; a Grinch-themed storefront window in Collingswood

Row 13: Closeup of ornaments on NYC’s Bryant Park’s tree; NYC’s Rockefeller Plaza tree; the No Name (formerly Philly) Pops; a candle in the window for Winter Solstice.

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
