I hope everyone had a great Chrismukkah. Among many other fabu things (will do a brag post later), I received a video iPod! Since Sirensong died 2 weeks ago, I was ecstatic. I christened this iPod “Calliope.”
Because it just seemed right, the first video I downloaded was Weird Al’s “White and Nerdy.” I’m ashamed to say I am quite familiar with the song’s contents.

I’m currently nursing a cold. A statician could come up with a very good correlation between the times I visit with my extended family and the times I end up diseased in some way, shape or form. (Sunday night:Christmas Eve::Tuesday night:congestion) I swear, I’m taking Airborne before the next family event. Anyway I started taking Cold-eeze on Wednesday and believe it or not, I’m feel as if the cold’s almost done. The Cold-eeze isn’t bad either – tastes like cheap stale old person candy.
As for New Year’s Eve, I’m sending 2006 on its merry way by staying home. This weekend will be filled with junk food, World of Warcraft, and a mite of alcohol.
Wow! I got a Zune. My frustration of iTunes has led me down the Microsoft path. Great device. I also bought a DVD ripper – helps a lot!
