I wish I had remembered after I found the ‘three’ picture and the ‘twenty-three’ picture that ‘thirteen’ was THE YEAR OF THE HAIRCUT! Plus, it was 1986, so factor in the hot-roller effect. This is the least offensive shot I found — my Confirmation. Taken from a distance because I don’t think my hair would fit in the frame of a closeup.

However, I *did* find a pic of my brother dressed as a California Raisin for Halloween (I hope it was Halloween, God please let it have been Halloween) so at least I had some chuckles.
