That’s Italian!

That’s Italian!
awwww!
Mood: Lazy

Lunch: Life Choice Chicken Parmesan, a baggie of grapes.

Dinner: About a serving and a half of spaghetti, tossed with a basil, tomato, and garlic mix that I sauteed in olive oil for a few moments to get it tender. Will have grapes for dessert. Grapes will set me free!

On Sunday, August 1, I visited the San Diego Zoo again. It was a special treat, because I didn’t think I’d ever get back there. The little panda above is Mei Sheng (Chinese for “Born in the USA.” That little guy and his older half-sister, Hua Mei, are the only 2 pandas to be born into captivity in the USA and live more than 4 days. Mei Sheng will be 1 this month. Hua Mei is 4, and is now living in China.

The bad news is that Freezer Burn is leaving this site. The good news is that I’m spinning it off onto it’s own site…which will be named freezerburned.com. Don’t bother, nothing’s there yet. I want do do more with the scripting of that site, (like get it to work!) which is hard to do within the confines of LadyGypsy.net. I also think spinning it off will bring it more attention. Frankly, it deserves it. There’s a formidable collection of frozen delights in that section, and I’m proud.

I was just interrupted by a phone call soliciting donations for the Police Athletic League. I’m a generous person, but we’ve gone down this path before. Give to one police/fire association, then they ALL call you at ALL times of the day. Pretty soon your car has more decals on it than a NASCAR racer, and you’ll be getting phone calls from the Retired Pirates Association. No thanks.

Off to watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, than into City of Heroes to play with Dark Radiant!

Hello!

About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

the wombsday clock graphic with two teal haired women in white rockers. It has reached 12 months and there are teal and white stars all over the graphic.
Well, that happened.
