Happy Friday! Today is Halloween and our goodie bags of candy and trinkets are ready to go!
I’m a little busy today so let’s get straight to the Friday 5. This week’s theme is Take the cannoli which can only mean The Godfather. Or, if you’re a Barbie trying to overthrow the Kens, the godFATHER.
- When did someone make you an offer you couldn’t refuse? Anytime a person offers to top up my coffee when I’m out for breakfast. Yes, please!
- How do you feel about Italian food? I love it, especially the typical checkered-tablecloth Italian-American fare. Give me a chicken parmigiana the size of my face nestled on a trough of spaghetti and drowned in red sauce and I’m a happy girl.
- When did you last attend a wedding? On October 9! It was one of WM’s former students which made us all feel old.
- What do you know about organized crime in your city? I don’t know of any, but an alleged sex trafficker was arrested in my neighborhood on Monday. There were helicopters flying overhead and the FBI was present.
- If you’ve been to Las Vegas, how did you like it? I’ve been there a few times now for both work and play. I enjoy it, but it used to be better. You were able to eat, see shows and game for much less money and with a lot less planning.
