Some words: I love the murals in Philadelphia. This one is called Declaration and given the state of this country and its perpetual persecution of POC, including ICE raids in American streets and police shooting at people who are peaceably assembling, I thought it was fitting.
The Pledge of Allegiance, which many Americans have no problems forcing schoolchildren to recite every morning (as I did for 13 years of public school education), ends with “liberty and justice for all.” ALL. ALL.
