Happy Friday, which is also National Peanut Cluster Day (yum!), National Profreading Day, and International Women’s Day which – meh. Pay us equally and let us control our bodies and then I’ll be a little more merry.
Here’s the Friday 5 – this week’s theme is WORDL and it looks a bit challenging! Let’s get into it.
- Which five-letter word describes your mood today?
TIRED. PT and the related exercises are kicking my ass, but I can tentatively say it’s starting to work. - Which five-letter word describes your plans for the weekend?
CARDS. My March cards are finalized in my mind – I just have to assemble them. - Which five-letter word describes something that annoyed you this week?
AGAIN. As in, a gym I joined is closing. AGAIN. This happened in 2022, and now my new (to) me gym is closing on April 1. I’m shopping around for a new one that isn’t too far away. The one that’s closing is only 5 minutes away and I like to go before work. - Which five-letter word did you eat this week?
SOUPS. Soups have become my lunchtime goto. They’re quick to prepare and very filling. My current favorite is Progresso Savory Beef Barley Vegetable soup. - Which five-letter word made you happy this week?
SEEDS. I started tomato, pepper and herb seeds this week and they’re starting to sprout! I think I’m going to sow some lettuce outside on Sunday. I love the early days of gardening, before the bugs and rot arrive.
Nothing pithy to add – I’m too pooped for pith.
