I bought a LOT of craft supplies during the thickest part of the COVID pandemic, and because I was sad (pandemic) I barely used any of it. So other than cardstock, tape, and glue, this year I want to use what I already have when creating cards for my various card swaps.
I’m really happy with how the Valentine’s Day cards turned out. I embossed white cardstock with a flower pattern and lightly used a brush to add red ink to it. Next, I used my die cutter to cut out heart shapes in red and a neat metallic gold cardstock. A little bit of glue and tape later and I had my cards!
I decided to be smart and create embossed panels with purple ink brushed onto it for the regular February cards. That didn’t go as well, but since I only mailed them out this week, that blog post will wait until later in the month.
