Good Things:
Thursday: New York City with Mom! It was a fantastic day, capped off with the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular!
Friday: John’s birthday dinner at Iron Hill Brewery, where I also collected my quarterly beer box.
Saturday: Quick trip to the library to drop off some books. There was a ‘gently used accessories’ sale going on. While perusing the scarves, I saw a small white handkerchief with embroidered flowers on it. And then I started to cry because somebody (likely a woman) years ago spent a lot of time on this and there it was, buried among a heap of discarded scarves. Anyway, I have a small floral hankie now. Its creator’s handiwork will be honored and remembered. Hats off to WM for not being embarrassed by me as I sniffled my way through the library.
Meh Things:
Monday-Friday: I am suffering from impostor syndrome.
Friday: Another trip to the credit union to ask about my missing debit card. I think the problem is solved now – I didn’t have a ‘member profile’ even though I’ve had a joint account there with WM for year. No member profile means no address. No address means that every card I requested was generated but never mailed. They’re allegedly rushing me a new debit card. Maybe I can finally move this to the Good Things side of the blog post next week.
The Verdict:
Definitely a GOOD week!
