I feel like I should apologize for the previous post, but this blog is mine, warts and all. (shrug)

Joe Biden’s verbal gaffes get a lot more attention than they should. I think this is because he has the sleaze/sincerity ratio (SSR?) of a normal non-political American citizen. But because we believe our politicians have a higher sleaze/sincerity ratio, many of his sincere statements are interpreted as sleazy.
