TNP’s fiscal year ends on 6/30. By the end of June I’ll have accrued 6 vacation days. There’s a great policy in place where you can roll up to 5 vacation days into the next year. I’ll be taking advantage of that so I won’t have to borrow days from the year ahead for our July honeymoon.* So I knew I had 1 day to blow before 6/30.
I didn’t know I had also been given 2 personal days that can’t be rolled over and have to be used before 6/30. And other than the comp day from my New Orleans trip, I haven’t taken a day off since I started! And that’s how I ended up here this morning:

(After 6 years I finally have an outside seating area again. I also have a tomato plant, a basil plant and an oregano plant out here that you can’t see. I’m beyond tickled at that.)
At the old job I had to take off at least a day a month to stay sane. BUT…I am still flaking out on canceling my subscription. I guess I’m just a sentimental softie after all.

So what do I do with this blank day yawning ahead of me? Laundry? Clean the bathroom? Sweep the floor? Psht.
Maybe I’ll get an audio version of Fifty Shades and create a gray necklace. You know, beat two birds with one flogger?
*gah!
I totally got that reference. Said with a read face. LOL.
