I sent Serenity back today without finishing it. Why? Because I fell asleep through it. Twice. So yeah, the Alliance is actually a bunch of bad guys, the robbers are actually good guys, and the chick with a hole in her head is programmed to be some psychic savant. Oh, and there are Reavers, humanoids so horrible they eat humans alive. ( yawn )
Everything in the paragraph above, I’ve seen it before in other movies.
And I fell asleep through laser gun battles. So Serenity goes back. Maybe I’ll try an episode of Firefly instead to get the know the characters better. Because after 45 minutes of the movie, I had no idea who was who, who did what, and why I should even care.

Ok I get it. Jumping into the movie not the best thing. Watch the show first. I PROMISE you will fall in love with it watch it over and over and…… well you get the Idea.
