status quo

Hello? Is this thing on?

Some days I can write for hours. Some days life seems un-notable. Which isn’t a bad thing, mind you. I’ll give you a bulleted summary, with hopes that I’ll be able to write about something interesting soon.

  • Totally torn over the Schiavo case, as are most thoughtful people. I firmly believe that her husband, her parents, and the crazed lunatics picketing the hospice all deserve a punch or three. In the middle of it all lies a silenced woman. We’ll never really know what the truth is, for both sides have postured and paraded themselves to the point of caricature. The deathwatch is draining.
  • Wt. loss is coming nicely…I’m about 9 lbs down. The 10s fit, but not well yet. That’ll come in due time.
  • I’m totally obsessed with World of Warcraft. Geez…there are times during my day when my mind travels, and I start thinking…”How much gold do I have now? I wonder how my auctions made out? Should I be paying more attention to my frost magic line?” I’m a sick gamer girl. But Leota, the undead mage, is now level 26 and can actually tailor armor that she can wear! Sick. Sick. Sick.

Honestly, that’s all. If I can’t think of something to write tomorrow, I’ll start posting memes and quizzes. Anything to get rid of this writer’s blcok.

My boyfriend was into WOW but got sick of it because of lag and downtime issues. Sold it and his characters on ebay!!

I can’t touch WoW yet. I just got CoH and I’m completely hooked like I’ve never been before! If I spend much more time on it my wife will start wearing black and declare me dead to the world. I fear if I picked up WoW she’d take the kids and leave… and it’d take me a couple of hours to notice!

    Hello!

    About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)

    Well, that happened.
