I just checked my stats, and I’m averaging over 100 visits a day. In April, 2004 I was getting about 60 visits a day. I don’t know where the bump in visits came from, (since recently I took down 85% of my content for refurbishing) but welcome! Let’s catch you up….
I’m Kim. I’m 32. I work at a job that I’m no longer allowed to blog about. I’m married to a guy who prefers I not blog about him, either. I call him Thor, but you can find his real name if you try. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist. We’ll be married for 8 years in April. No kids yet. By choice so far. One dog, two cats. A house which we will own outright in 29 years and 2 months. It has a lot of wallpaper in it but we’re doing the best we can with it. I play online games, currently World of Warcraft. (Azjol-Nerub server…I’m Leota, a lvl 21 undead magess) . I’m never good at online games. In the past 6 weeks I started listening to and became hooked on NPR, became a Save the Children sponsor and shopped at an organic foods store. That’s what I get for voting blue, I guess. 😉 I’ve had this site for a few years now and have been blogging for two. There is a lot more content to it, but I took most of it down for refurbishing.
And now to scare you all off…let’s talk sports!
But Kim…you really aren’t into sports…
I know. But this is March Madness, when I read 3 sports stories and use that banal knowledge to fill out some brackets for the promise of some money.
Mmm….gambling! I’m in TWO pools this year — my brother’s and one at work. (By the way, my “Legend Killers” fantasy football team finished 2nd to last…I lost interest in them). I kept the same picks for both pools because 1) I’m lazy and 2) I’m competing against different people.
So far I think I’m 9 wins 3 losses. I correctly picked the Milwaukee/Alabama upset. (for the past few years, an #12 always beats a #5 in the first round). Illinois scared me (I have them going to the final 2) but they ended up beating Fairleigh Dickinson. Whew!
Tidbits:
I wore green today, but quite by accident. I’m usually decked out in shamrocks and such today, but I honestly didn’t remember it was St. Pat’s day until I got to work and saw the greenness. We had a baby shower luncheon today at Trattoria Barone. Some of the cards made my ovaries cry for mercy. I just can’t handle those damn Hallmark cards anymore. The clock…it ticks ever louder.

Hi! 🙂 Thanks for visiting (I’ve been lurking and just not noting here for awhile now–also found you thru the good doctor 🙂
…I don’t know why I’ve not left a “hello” because I try really hard not to “lurk”…
Those ovaries and their damn “clocks.” We had 2 kids and decided that was ENOUGH. Now that we’ve made sure we can’t have more… My ovaries are seeing babies EVERYWHERE I look and crying–I WANT ONE!!!! 🙂
I realize they are completely insane but it doesn’t really help or anything. *g*

Might be a little late to comment here but I just found you this morning while surfing for City of Heroes sites (yes your one post mentioning this game came up). Long story short, I started reading and got hooked. Your wit has made a long day at work (IT tech support) much less monotonous!
