Aloha! I’m blogging LIVE from DisneyQuest on their dumbed-down terminals. The keyboard is a bit weird…the \key is where the shift key is. So excuse the typos.
The weather is gorgeous…beautiful blue sky with puffy, white, non-intrusive clouds. Our flights were smooth. We slept during the flight to Atlanta. And, we got the room we requested…ground floor, Tahiti building facing the castle. So hyper me can run right from the room to the beach!
Yesterday we ate at the outdoor cantina at Mexico. (Epcot Mexico, that is) Then we meandered around world showcase until around 3 pm. Headed back to the room for a bit, and took a nap at 5 pm, since we were awake since 2:30. Slept until 8 am this morning. Eek! Missed ‘Ohana (means family) dinner, and the fireworks. Oh, well.
This morning we ate at Kona Cafe (Kim: scrambled eggs. David: pancakes) and headed out to Downtown Disney. Bought some stuff at the Christmas store. (Erin: more antenna toppers!) And now we’re here. We’ll probably have lunch at the Cheesecake factory upstairs.
But let’s answer the burning question on everyone’s minds: “Kim, are you sick?” Why yes, Virginia, I’m sick again! Small cough…iffy voice…cranky throat. Oh well. I’m at my laughing place…and I won’t let the sniffles ruin it for me. After all, I’ve been sick since August. I’m used to it. 🙂
We also bought tickets to the Wednesday night Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba show. (Damon: Yes, we finally broke down…hope its as good as you say. Over…)
I should be blogging regularly, since there is now a cheap internet kiosk in the Polynesian lobby. (John: that means that yes, I did update my fantasy team).
Aloha for now!
