I got weighed this morning.

I got weighed this morning. 139. Not too shabby! I wonder how ghastly it was on Monday? 🙂 I may hit 135 by Thursday if I:

  • Eat nothing but veggies all week
  • Wear one of those old ‘space-age’ weight loss plastic suits

So basically, I’m not gonna hit 135 by Thursday. But we all knew that, right? 🙂

Made a Dr. Appointment for Monday afternoon to get my knees looked at. Now I’m motivating myself to go to the gym. I think I’ll have an Aleve first.

MUCH to do today to prepare for vacation:

  • Target for sponges (I hate cleaning with paper towel), toothbrushes, toothpaste, a new carpet steamer and a sharps container for Mickey’s syringes
  • Bank to get our changed turned into paper money, and deposit a few refund checks we’ve been holding on to.
  • Mall to take that money we just received and turn it into Disney Dollars for our trip. I also want to look for shorts and a swimsuit. David doesn’t know that yet.
  • Storage to get our suitcases, cooler, and summer clothes, and to deposit a table, snowshovel, and our winter clothes.
  • Drycleaner because I’m not capable enough to properly get David’s nice clothing clean and wrinkle-free

    OK…heading to the gym…….NOW!

    Hello!

    About Me

I've been blogging for over twenty (2 decades! 2-0!) years and I'm apparently one of the few over-50 female bloggers who haven't sold out to THE MAN yet; hence this blog remains quirky, homespun, and unprofitable. No big. However, if you're from Disney, Doritos, or Dave Matthews Band, I'm open to talk about selling out.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband WM, and our dog Murphy. I'm an adult who likes Disney but not a Disney Adult. I used to work a fun (really!) office job in Philadelphia, but since March of 2020 I'm a work from home hermit. So if you're looking for a childless, slightly round, marginally boring GenX woman's blog to follow, you've come to the right place! :)
