Musings on life, work, health, and emotions.

February 5, 2003 – evening 1

The apartment’s quiet and warm. My muscles softly ache from the gym this afternoon. (David came with me!!) David’s a-snooze in the bed, making it look twice as comfy. I’m in my soft and stretchy workout clothing. Laundry and kitchen are under control. Charlie snores quietly, as only cats can. My eyelids feel heavy.

And I have to go out and pay the #(%& rent!!

Today’s the last day it’s due before we get charged a late penalty. I guess I could drop it off on the way to work tomorrow morning, since they won’t be able to tell if something was dropped in the box before midnight or after. But I don’t want to count on myself remembering to stop at the office on the way to work in the wee small hours of the morning.

The sooner I do it, the sooner I can be in bed. But inertia, my foe, is winning out. And thus I remain here in my comfy chair, feet in slippers, fingers on keyboard. (sigh)

Ugh…lazy me. This should honestly take less than 5 minutes to accomplish. C’mon, Kim….be an adult…..

New Year’s Eve

I ache from working out last night. Very sleepy too. I don’t know how I’ll hang in until after midnight. If I don’t take a lunch, I can leave at 1:00 and nap until 5:00. I think I’ll try out the new hot rollers Mom gave me for Christmas. At worst I’ll look like Harpo Marx. 😉

Just got back from the gym

Just got back from the gym and I’m not dead. That’s a good thing. I went 23.32 minutes on the dastardly elliptical machine and did 10 chinups. I will be svelte this summer.

Resisted the urge to top off workout with a chai latte. Configuring blogger to make fonts look like how I want ’em to look.
